Smarter Growth Initiative ("SGI"), a program of CHBA-UDI Calgary Region Association  ("us", "we", or "our") operates the smartergrowth.ca website (the "Service") for viewers and contributors (“you”, “your”, or “them”).

SGI may collect or use your personal information in accordance with the Mollom Privacy Policy, our Privacy Statement, and applicable Privacy Legislation. Personal information includes your name and e-mail address.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. We will only collect Personal Information that is necessary to fulfill the following purposes:

  • To register you as a contributor.
  • To verify the identity of contributors.

Contribution to the website is optional and all areas of the website can be accessed without you providing any personal information. Should you decide to contribute, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data. You can have all personal information stored by smartergrowth.ca deleted by contacting us.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your Personal Information and may use passwords, encryption, firewalls, restricted employee access or other methods, in our discretion. We will use appropriate security measures when destroying your Personal Information such as shredding documents or deleting electronically stored information, in our discretion.
